Do you possess (1) a current National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic certification (NREMT-P) and/or an unrestricted state license; AND (2) a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; AND (3) a current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification? If you do not possess all certifications, you will be considered ineligible for these positions. You MUST list these certifications with expiration dates in your resume, or upload copies of your certifications.

Perform advanced patient assessment to determine primary complaints and appropriate treatments.

Provide appropriate care for a variety of medical emergencies including stroke, seizure, heart attack, anaphylaxis, and diabetic emergencies.

Provide appropriate advanced airway management and ventilation utilizing combitubes, endotracheal intubation, airway adjuncts, and oxygen delivery systems.

Provide appropriate Advanced Cardiac Life Support utilizing heart monitors and defibrillators, airway control, intravenous (IV) access, and medications.

Provide appropriate treatment for patients in shock, including IV therapy.
8.
Provide appropriate trauma management to patients including management of fractures and wounds.
9.
Assess and properly treat patients with neck and spine injuries.
10.
Extricate and package patients for transport to hospital.
11.
Provide appropriate treatment for patients suffering from environmental emergencies such as heat exhaustion, heat stroke, burns, frostbite, hypothermia, insect related emergencies, and injuries caused by wildlife.

Provide assistance with emergency childbirth.
13.
Provide pharmacological support to patients requiring medication administration.

Participate as a team member on an ambulance crew responding to 911 calls or other emergencies.
