Thank you for your interest in a Range Technician (Weeds) with the Bureau of Land Management Upper Colorado River District (Grand Junction, Silt). I have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 level performing the following duties: Inventorying and treating weeds with herbicide and other integrated approaches, leading work crews and assigning tasks in treating weeds, reporting accomplishments, mapping treatment locations, and mixing and applying herbicides within government policy and regulations.

B. I have successfully completed at least one full year (18 semester hours) of graduate level education from an accredited college or university in a field directly related to the work of the position. This education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position. I will provide a copy of my transcripts.

C. I have an equivalent combination of specialized experience and graduate level education described above when combined, equals 100% of the total requirement. This education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position. (To compute, first determine your experience as a percentage of the experience required; then determine your education as a percentage of the education required. Add the two percentages.
