Qualifications for Archeologist Technician, GS-0102-05

Archeology fieldwork is defined as, under supervision, surveying for and/or excavating archaeological resources, and recording the results of such survey or excavation using appropriate data collection methods.

B. I have completed four (4) years of education above high school leading to a bachelor's degree in archeology, or anthropology with an archeology focus, or related field of study. I will provide a copy of my college transcript.

C. I have an equivalent combination of specialized experience and education, as described above. To compute this, first determine your total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience requirement; then determine your education as a percentage of the education requirement; add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal 100 percent to qualify. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester/90 quarter hours (i.e., beyond the second year leading towards a bachelor's degree) is creditable towards meeting the specialized experience requirement. I will provide a copy of my transcripts.
