Plans and leads survey grade geodetic and ground-based lidar data acquisition field projects and ensures data collected will be sufficient to answer scientific questions.

Conduct field surveys using Global Positioning System (GPS) hardware and software.

Conduct numerical modeling of three-dimensional (3-D) stress fields and groundwater flow to analyze 3-D instability of hillslopes.
14.
Design, develop, and create geospatial analysis systems, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or databases for collecting, maintaining, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting geoscience information.

Complete Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tasks and products in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
