Eligibilities
1.
Are you a current Permanent (Tenure 1 OR 2) full-time Dual Status Air National Guard Technician at the Wing announcing the position within the state for which this position is being advertised?
To verify your eligibility, you must submit a copy of your Notification of Personnel Action, Standard Form 50 (SF 50) reflecting your Tenure status in Block 24 (1, 2, or 3).
Lateral requests must be a current full-time Tennessee National Guard PERMANENT (Tenure 1 or Tenure 2) on-board employee, in the same occupational series, same pay grade or higher and meet the qualification requirements for the position blocks 16-18 will reflect Occupational Series Code and grade level.

Do you have 18 months experience or training installing, maintaining, repairing and modifying electrical systems and major substation components of electrical system; experience diagnosing malfunctions and determining remedy when complex relationships exist among different electrical system circuits requiring knowledge of all electrical units and systems; experience making electrical repairs that require the use of precision measuring equipment and common hand tools; experience in the setup and operation of computerized multiple circuit analyzing equipment in manual, semiautomatic, or automatic mode to run existing and new (not fully debugged) diagnostic programs to test and analyze aircraft electrical circuitry and interconnecting cabling of systems such as navigational computers, radar, and related equipment and to repair discrepancies?

Exercise judgment and independence in determining solutions to maintenance and repair problems which are affected by related aircraft systems/subsystems.

Perform precise and advanced wiring maintenance procedures on aircraft and debrief aircrews on the electrical/environmental systems.

Troubleshoot, modify, test and repair complex electrical systems and components.
