A) Degree - Major study in safety or occupational health fields (safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene), or degree in other related fields that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours of study from among the following (or closely related) disciplines: safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, occupational medicine, toxicology, public health, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological sciences, engineering, and industrial psychology. ***If using education to qualify for this position, you MUST provide transcripts to support your educational claims***

B) 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least a GS-9 level - Performing periodic/unscheduled inspections of base facilities, warehouses, and equipment maintenance operations and evaluated compliance with applicable regulations and hazard system. Recommending measures and methods to correct safety and occupational health deficiencies. Participating in planning for testing of munitions, and assured integration of explosive safety criteria in testing procedures. Reviewing test implementation directives for inclusion of appropriate safety criteria. Preparing supplements to regulations and manuals for aircraft weapons safety and developed local regulations defining applicable mishap prevention procedures. ***If using experience to qualify, you MUST address your experiences in detail on resume as they relate to these specialized experiences to be considered for this position***
