Do you have experience developing policies and administering the management of traffic programs, plans and directs traffic operations within the program and performs necessary technical work involved in obtaining economical and efficient transportation of equipment, supplies, and personnel in support of these operations?

Do you have 24 months or 1 year at the next lower GS level specialized experience involving the movement of freight or passengers and determining transportation and operating costs; experience participating in the direction and coordination of traffic management function; experience interpreting and providing routine advice on carrier tariffs and related routing guides; interpreting regulations/requirements and developing local policies to implement changes effectively; experience applying applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations concerning transportation and traffic procedure;. experience preparing reports and recommendations involving appeals, special permits, adjustments in rates and charges; experience which involved negotiations with carriers on individual shipments or traffic movement; experience in making effective presentations both orally and in writing; previous TMO Background; experience with CMOS, ILSS, Syncada system, and Reconciling Monthly CBA Bill?

Analyzes and advises on transportation considerations relative to the domestic and international movement of equipment, supplies, and personnel via all commercial transportation modes.
4.
Service incident to receiving, processing, and dispatching commodity and passenger traffic; to include demurrage charges, drayage and other accessorial services not directly related to line-haul movements.
5.
Ensures carrier capability complies with government requirements and specifications.
