These duties include assisting higher grade staff with: installing furniture, moving furniture, hanging pictures/bulletin boards/signs, as well as assisting journeyman maintenance mechanics, journeyman electricians, journeyman pipefitters in performing preventative maintenance on various systems/equipment, knowledge in one or more trade fields such as, electrical, carpentry, masonry, painting, plumbing, air conditioning, or heating trades. 5. Ability to carry out duties with considerable movement around the hospital that involve bending, lifting, work from ladders and scaffolding and platforms, both in and outside the building, and crawling through restrictive areas.
