Eligibilities

I am exercising my preference eligibility for positions within the local commuting area of my sponsor's current duty station.  I certify that I have not accepted nor declined a permanent, continuing Federal or non-appropriated fund position in the local commuting area of our current duty location. 

NOTE 1:  Military spouses are eligible for one permanent appointment using their preference eligibility for the duration of the active duty sponsor's assignment to a permanent duty station, as long as the military spouse has not declined or accepted a permanent Federal or non-appropriated fund position in the commuting area of the sponsor's current duty location.  If you certify that you have not used your preference at your sponsor's current duty location and it is discovered to be untrue, you may be subject to loss of MSP and possible disciplinary action. 

NOTE 2:  You must include documentation of your preference eligibility which includes:  A copy of the PCS orders and your marriage certificate or license.

Failure to provide this documentation will result in a rating of ineligible.

Assessment 1
1. Do you have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in graphic art or other related field  or the equivalent combination of directly related education, training and three years recent experience that demonstrates skill in computer graphic applications?

2. Knowledge of graphic design principles, visual methods, and materials, including a wide range of communication and illustration concepts, principles and practices needed to plan, design, and produce a variety of complex visual requirements. (limit characters)
3. Ability to use sophisticated, state-of-the-art graphic and multimedia design technology (equipment and software) to produce the highest quality print, website animations and multimedia products, and meet production requirements. (limit characters)
4. Ability to establish plan and organize work, meet schedules and timelines, maintain records and prepare reports. (limit characters)
5. Proficiency with complex design software including the Adobe Creative Suite (In-Design, Illustrator, Adobe Photo Shop) or other graphic development software. (limit characters)
6. Knowledge of grammar and spelling standard in graphic design with the ability to conceptualize and recommend advertising methods from written and verbal instructions. (limit characters)
7. Experience with photo restoration, file conversion, digital media and social media (limit characters)
