There is a time in grade requirement for this position. You must have served at least one year time in grade at the GS-09 in order to be eligible for the GS-11. Do you meet the time in grade requirement?

You must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level performing Supervisory duties such as administrative and communications support work related to housekeeping duties that equip you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties or an Assistant Hospital Housekeeping Officer? To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least GS-09 grade level in Federal service. Specialized experience includes: Extensive knowledge of advanced sanitation programs and a working knowledge of hospital sanitation programs within the facility in the areas of, environmental sanitation, laundry/linen operations, and interior/exterior infrastructure cleanliness, and regulated and non-regulated medical waste disposal. Analytical ability to research, assemble, and compile information and data, evaluate the results against appropriate standards, and recommend corrective action where indicated. Knowledge of pertinent regulations and policies as they apply to the duties of the position and to the functions of the housekeeping program areas are required. Ability to plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, establishes and adjusts short term priorities, and prepares schedules for work completion. Ability to assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the work capabilities of employees.
