Assessment 1
1. Specialized experience for the GS-15 is one year of experience at the GS-14 level that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position must include:
- Plan, evaluate, develop and manage law enforcement initiatives, to include physical, personnel, IT, and document security programs; and
- Design, develop, and installing protective systems and devices to ensure that sensitive information, protection of resources and high-value assets, equipment, and other material is not compromised, sabotaged, stolen, misused, or subjected to malicious mischief or other acts of willful interference; and
- Develop and implement policies and procedures and ensuring that the policies and procedures are communicated to all personnel; and
- Manage suitability determination and adjudicating background investigations; and
- Planning for emergency preparedness and for continuity of protection and security police operations.
