Experience, education or training in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately. Able to apply procedures and directives by reading and interpreting technical material. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing, using presentation and report formats. Demonstrated ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures. Learned ability to assess the surrounding environment to recognize immediate risk levels. Must have the education and validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade for one of the seven organizational program disciplines and its applicable Security Series career.

Must have 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level, education, or training in planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling Installation and law enforcement activities. The incumbent must have experience providing training in areas related to this position and analyzing reports of investigations and maintaining security records. Experience being responsible for all base electronic security systems by performing electronic security systems duties and managing all functions necessary to sustain electronic security protection in all areas of the installation. This includes experience with the Intrusion Detection System (IDS)program, the Integrated Base Defense Security Systems (IBDSS) program, Defense Biometrics Identification System - DBIDS, and Security Forces Information Management System (SFMIS). Manages the functional and operational sustainment of all data processing programs such as DBIDS, SFMIS, and other systems installed and/or programmed for the ECP (entry control point). Researching, interpreting, and analyzing guidelines to ensure all work complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
