Do you have a fundamental working experience with validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade?

Do you possess at least 12 months of finance program experiences and competencies that provided knowledge of financial principles and procedures with a working knowledge on planning, coordinating, and performing comprehensive reviews, special studies and selective internal examinations of base level financial management programs?

Knowledge of laws, DOD Directives, finance regulations and financial management and operating procedures relative to the entitlements and allowances related to the payment of military personnel, civilian personnel, vendors and travelers.

Knowledge of multiple financial and accounting systems to perform studies related to management improvement, productivity improvement and management controls to analyze and evaluate criteria for the enhancement of all assigned Pay programs (Military Pay, Civilian Pay, Accounts Payable, and Travel Pay).

Ability to apply fact-finding and investigative techniques to perform studies and analysis of data and the ability to research and analyze directive and regulations to assess their impact on current and planned operational initiatives.
7.
Ability to gather, assemble, analyze and prepare both short- and long-term strategy for presenting, explaining, and documenting budget requests and justifying to management officials.
8.
Skilled in preparing reports and in organizing and delivering briefings to managers, and wing leadership to encourage understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
9.
Detailed grasp of governing regulations and a thorough understanding of pertinent laws, regulations, and other technical criteria in order to determine propriety of entitlements and pay.
10.
Detailed knowledge of related financial regulations and rulings covering diverse types of pay transactions to typically function as a technical authority for the resolution of an extensive range of issues or problems.
