NWCG Qualifications (Selective Factor) - In addition to the minimum qualifications and specialized experience described above, all applicants must meet at least one of the following certification and currency paths by the closing date of the announcement: 1. ICT5 (Incident Commander Type 5); and ENGB (Engine Boss), CRWB (Crew Boss) and FIRB (Firing Boss) or Helicopter Manager (HMGB).

3. Do you have substantial wildland firefighting experience performing on-the-line wildland firefighting experience gained through containment, control, suppression, or use of wildland fire. Wildland fire is defined as any non-structure fire that occurs in the wildland and is categorized into two distinct types: Wildfires, which is any unplanned ignitions or prescribed fires that are declared wildfires; and Prescribed Fires which are planned ignitions. (Prescribed fire experience must be supplemented by fire suppression experience in order to be creditable as previous wildland firefighting experience) AND do you have this experience documented with specific dates in your work history/resume?
