1. Do you possess one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-07 to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled with supervision and guidance.

Specialized experience is described as experience where the incumbent is expected to: plan time schedules to cover the extended tour to assure calls are answered within a timely manner and with a minimum of abandoned calls recorded. Develops performance plans and standards that are realistic, and manages the performance appraisal process and submits them timely in accordance with agency policy. Analyzes the necessary human resources, equipment and space to effectively support the mission of the Outpatient Services. Supports the planning efforts in implementing new logistical arrangements aimed at improving service. Considers the healthcare system's strategic goal of maximizing current and future resources, improving clinical delivery and continuum of care, promoting a positive image, and customer satisfaction within the Medical center. Continually and Systematically evaluate assigned operations and to make necessary recommendations to ensure conformance with standards and established goals. Develops and/or maintains a system of internal reviews and a quality assurance program to ensure all programs operate at a high level of effectiveness that ensures compliance with standards at accrediting, regulatory and agency authorities.
