Eligibilities

1. Specialized Experience GS-11:

To qualify for a GS-0343-11 Program Analyst, you must possess the following:

Experience: At least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-9) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization that equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled.

Examples of specialized experience include but are not limited to: the substantive nature of agency programs and activities; agency missions, policies, and objectives; management principles and processes; and the analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution and improving organizational effectiveness, efficiency and basic budgetary and financial management principles and techniques as they relate to long range planning of programs and objectives.

Education: 
Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related to the position.

Combination
