2. Basic Requirement: Experience and/or Education. For this position you may qualify through education, experience or a combination of both:(1) Experience. Six months experience of clerical, office, [customer service], or other [administrative] work that indicates the ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position; OR, (2) Education. One year above high school; OR, (3) Experience/ Education Combination. Equivalent combination of experience and education are qualifying for entry level for which both education and experience are acceptable.

3. LEAD MSA GS-7 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: To qualify at the GS-7 level, the candidate must possess one year of experience equivalent to the GS-6 grade level. Credible experience at the next lower level includes but is not limited to:
* Ability to organize work, set priorities, and delegate tasks/responsibilities in order to meet deadlines.
* Skill in communicating with individuals to obtain the desired effect, ensuring compliance with established policies and regulations.
* Ability to provide staff development and training.
* Ability to manage staffing requirements, manage priorities, and coordinate with staff in the unit in order to complete duties in an accurate and timely manner. This includes the ability to follow-up on pending issues and demonstrate an understanding of the impact of incomplete work.
* Ability to review and monitor data to ensure all reports are complete and accurate.

4. LEAD MSA GS-7 GRADE DETERMINATION: Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills and Abilities. In addition to the required experience, candidates must demonstrate [all of] the KSAs below:
i. [Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and a wide range of clinical flow processes relating to access to care across multiple clinics, specialties, and/or community resources.
ii. Ability to utilize numerous advanced patient systems in support of multiple clinics in an interdisciplinary setting.]

iv. Skill in communicating with individuals to obtain the desired effect [and coordinating with a variety of interdisciplinary care team staff].
