Conditions of Employment

This position requires the incumbent to be a certified forklift operator in accordance with OSHA standards and be able to pass an operator's test, read traffic signs, and complete trip tickets, within one year of initial employment. Do you understand this requirement?

Use standard packing and warehouse tools and equipment such as carton knife, tape measure, screwdrivers, and stretch wrap machines.
13.
Apply protective wraps, braces, and cushions, and secure containers by sealing and/or taping.
14.
Perform operator's maintenance on equipment.
15.
Pack tools, materials, and equipment using a wide variety of standard packing methods and techniques.
16.
Select the most appropriate method of packing and materials to be used in packing based on the preservation of equipment.
17.
Assemble stock in appropriate location for pickup or shipment.
18.
Operate various tools, pallet jacks, and forklifts in a safe manner.
19.
Follow safety procedures and safety practices in operating equipment.
20.
Wear proper clothing and safety equipment.
