Specialized Experience - Must have at least 1 year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level; GS-11. Examples of specialized experience include the management and administration of various Federal employee programs. Advising management and counseling employees on programs related to health, life insurance, dental and vision coverage, leave, the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), physical capability requirements, limited duty, and the Federal Employees Compensation Act (FECA). Provide advisory services and technical guidance to employees and supervisors regarding retirement programs and options, which include the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS), the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS), beneficiary information, and survivor benefits.
