2. To qualify for the Congressional Liaison Representative at the GS-12 grade level, do you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-11) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization?
Examples of specialized experience include: experience communicating effectively with senior congressional staff, members of Congress, high-level agency officials, and other stakeholders; investigating, researching, and resolving constituent casework issues and inquiries from congressional offices; preparing detailed briefings, reports, and presentations on issues to senior leaders and congressional members; managing multiple projects related to congressional inquiries and legislative affairs, ensuring deadlines are met and information is accurate and comprehensive.
